CD4 Convention: May 3, 2026
When: Sunday, May 3. Registration opens 10:00 AM, Convention convenes 11:00 AM.
Where: North Central Regional Council of Carpenters, 710 Olive St, St. Paul, MN 55130
At the Congressional District Convention, delegates who were elected at the SD40 Endorsing Convention (held February 21) will:
- Endorse DFL candidate for Congress
- Elect 2 State DFL directors
- Elect 7 State Central Committee members
- Elect State DFL standing committee members
- Elect 2 members and 2 alternates to the State Convention Rules and Credentials Committees
DFL State Convention: May 29–31, 2026
When: May 29–31, 2026
Where: Mayo Civic Center, 30 Civic Center Dr SE, Rochester, MN 55904
At the DFL State Convention, delegates who were elected at the SD40 Endorsing Convention (held February 21) will:
- Endorse DFL candidates for U.S. Senate, Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of State,
and State Auditor - Consider Platform Resolutions for adoption into the DFL Ongoing Platform and Action Agenda
- Consider changes to the State DFL Constitution and Bylaws

Past Conventions
SD40 Endorsing Convention: February 21, 2026
When: Saturday, February 21. Registration begins 8:30am, convention convenes 9:30am.
Where: Mounds View High School, 1900 Lake Valentine Rd, Arden Hills, MN 55112
At the SD 40 DFL endorsing convention, delegates elected at the precinct caucuses (held February 3) will:
- endorse candidates for State House of Representatives for districts 40A and 40B,
- endorse a candidate for Minnesota Senate for Senate District 40,
- elect officers and members of the SD40 Central Committee,
- elect members to the DFL State Central Committee,
- vote on resolutions to be considered for the DFL platform, and
- elect delegates and alternates to the 4th Congressional District and State DFL conventions.
