If you’d like to participate in local discussions with other SD40 DFLers, we invite you to join our group on Facebook. You’ll need to answer the question of where in the district you live in order to be accepted (this keeps out the bots). You’ll also be required to follow the group’s rules:
DFL Senate District 40 Group Rules
- Stay on topic. Keep posts relevant to Senate District 40 DFL, including but not limited to local issues and campaigns, party business/events/fundraisers, voting information, and the electoral goals of the DFL party.
- Be kind and courteous. We’re all neighbors, so treat each other with respect. Assume all postings and comments are made in good faith and with good intentions.
- No hate speech or bullying. Make sure everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn’t allowed, and degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated.
- No spam. Campaigns (including the candidate and volunteers posting on the campaign’s behalf) are limited to posting only once per day.
- Respective everyone’s privacy. Being part of this group requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make groups great, but may also be sensitive and private. What’s shared in the group should stay in the group.
